E-ULTRA is a high-quality,high-performance and environmentally-friendly material. It is made entirely in Italy, in a factory in the province of Gorizia, on Italy's eastern border. The material is characterized by its lightness and softness.
Composition 57% exclusively Italian corn, GMO-free and non-food use; 43% PU (Polyurethane) biosourced without solvents or PVC.
Ecological footprint: 69% of the total carbon footprint comes from biosourced carbon, i.e. of non-fossil origin (recovery of plant biomass).
It consumes less energy to produce than animal leather, uses less water and emits less CO2.

LAI PORELINA 2.0: Lining inside shoes
LAI PORELLINA 2.0 is a high-quality, breathable, lightweight and absorbent material, manufactured in the same exceptional factory.
Thanks to its 1:1 ratio of corn resin to FSC viscose, it offers greater thermal comfort It is also antibacterial. The base is coagulated, soft and adapts perfectly to the shape of the foot for optimum comfort. Last but not least, its composition and construction ensure excellent moisture management, so you won't sweat and you'll stay cool and comfortable..
Composition : 50% Italian corn, non-GMO and non-food use; 50% FSC-certified Viscose (wood pulp).
Ecological footprint: 75% of the total carbon footprint comes from biosourced carbon, i.e. of non-fossil origin (recovery of plant biomass).
LAI PORELLINA 2.0 consumes less energy to produce than animal leather, uses less water and emits less CO2. FSC viscose guarantees optimal forest management, with no deforestation, destruction of ecosystems, human or animal exploitation or expropriation of forest-dwelling peoples.

PAMELA (Appleskin) : Matières pour l’élément de la découpe des chaussures
High quality material, made in Florence, Italy.Apple-based alternative to animal leather. All materials are of Italian origin to reduce the environmental impact of transport.
Composition : Textile part: 20% GRS-certified recycled polyester (rPET); 16% GRS-certified recycled cotton. Coating: 40% polyurethane and 24% apple waste.
Each meter of PAMELA contains the equivalent of 8 apples, destined to be thrown away.
Ecological footprint : rPET consumes 10 times less energy, uses 1/3 less water and emits 50% less CO2 than virgin PET. This minimizes the use of new resources, preserving water and energy consumption thanks to organic waste and GRS textiles.
Furthermore, it recycles apple waste produced in Italy (30,000 tonnes produced every year).

The company that manufactures PAMELA complies with the following standards :

GLOBAL RECYCLED STANDARD certification that certifies the recycled content of products, as well as their chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions. It applies to products containing at least 20% recycled content.
USDA which certifies a minimum 34% organic-sourced product. It certifies that organic products meet strict standards that guarantee they are grown and processed without the use of synthetic pesticides, chemical fertilizers or GMOs.
Quality tests on materials
E ULTRA; LAI PORELLINA, CIRCULAR and PAMELA materials have been tested to strict ISO standards, and over many cycles, for their resistance to tension, abrasion, tearing and bending.
